Meeting Highlights:
We had a guest, Eric Levett who is president of the Tampa Bay British Car Club attend the mee1ng. They have about 107 members and can do drives
all year round, but the summer months are brutal and drives during that time tend to be in daily drivers with AC. They tend to get together
on Saturdays for a "Breakfast or Burger Quest" with roughly 15 to 20 cars in attendance. During the COVID isolation period, Eric kept the
club ac1ve with games that name the British car from pictures of the engine or a section of the car and some trivia. Dennis told him
how he had posted pictures daily of the members cars for our club. Eric extended an invitation to look him and the club up on their
website if any of us happen to get to the Tampa Bay area and would like to say hello.
Bruno DeVuono is hos1ng a Brits 5 Corners Tour, Vails Gate, NY on June 27th. It is a 50 mile tour that winds through many back roads
and ends up at the Jolly Onion in Pine Island. There is outside dining and a wide variety of food including Barbecue. Meet at 10:30AM
at Advance Auto Parts in Vails Gate. For more information contact mgbmini@ yahoo.com
There was a lengthy discussion of taking over and running the Woodstock Car Show by our club. The consensus was to help out as much as
possible this year. There isn’t enough time to get things organized for the amount of work that has to be put into it. We will be having
a closer look at doing it next year with maybe a different format and profit sharing for the club.
Anyone that would be interested in setting up a drive, please contact Dennis or Lorine so that an email can be put out to the club.
Old Business and Prior Months Activities:

through Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster counties with lunch at Pizza the
Rock in Rock Hill. The tour ended in Pine Bush at Hometown Ice Cream
and Grill.
Ted Cryer headed up a drive to Lime Rock with 23 cars on June 5th
from the Daily Planet Diner for the Empire Cup Vintage Races. The club
got to watch plenty of racing under the pines in the camping area.
During intermission at lunchtime the Brits got to do four spirited
parade laps around the track which had been arranged by Mark
Harmon. Rick McCurdy had no mechanical problems and had a great
time racing.
Gary Panarotto and Ed Tamburo attended the FOP Car Show by Quick
Insurance at the Orange County Fire Training Facility on Sunday June
